I was born in Greece near the ancient city of
Delphi. My interest in photography began at the young age of 12
when I began experimenting with cinematography. At the age of 16 I
had created my own room. I photographed images of the neighbouring
landscape and the many interesting faces in this small town. I
later moved to Athens and studied at the photography institute
under the well known Athenian photographer, John Patrikios.
I moved to San Francisco in 1986 and further developed my skill
and talent in photography when I met George Thanos, a master in
photography. He introduced me to the Millbrae Camera Club where I
entered many of my prints in national competitions. I received a
certificate of merit from the Northern California Council of
Camera Clubs and several of my photographs received first place in
the competitions.
Every summer I travel to the Greek Islands for a
photo session. The Greek Islands are a photographer's paradise of
rich colour, light and breathtaking views of sea and sun. Each of
my photographs has a unique theme consisting of colourful doors,
staircases, windows and various landscape. Please enjoy your trip
through the Greek Islands.
